On Wednesday 12th November 2025, Strathmore Agri-Food Innovation Center Community of Practice hosted a Public Lecture with Heifer International under the topic “Youth, Innovation, Partnerships, and Access to Finance: Shaping the Future of African Agriculture.

On Tuesday, 14th October 2025, during the 9th Annual Learning Event, hosted by Mercy Corps AgriFin, Dr. Denis Fidalis Mujibi, Associate Director of Market Intelligence at the Strathmore Agri-Food Innovation Centre (SAFIC), delivered a thought-provoking session titled “Building Blocks for a National AI-driven Agriculture Extension System.”

Last week on Thursday, 25th September 2025, Strathmore Agri-Food Innovation Center hosted a webinar session, “Unlocking Data Opportunities for the Private Sector.” The session marked a significant step toward enhancing data-driven decision-making in Kenya’s agricultural sector, bringing together leaders from agribusiness, development, and academia to explore how data can transform food systems.
